so for all you camera guys out there please help me heres what i need to import to a macbook pro easily preferably via firewire (i have heard mini DV camcorders are best at this) a decent form of HD recording like 1280 by 1080 (i think?) to import in a format thats good to edit with final cut express long battery life in the cold good settings for night time shooting and is there such thing as HD mini DV tapes or can you record HD footage on normal mini DV tapes my budget is around $1000 Im only 16 but i just got a job so i should be able to save up to at least that pretty soon I know there is probably a better forum to ask this on so if anyone knows one i will ask on there too thanks in advance for all your help Last edited by nitroboarder22; 04-30-2009 at 08:04 AM. |

hv30 test on Vimeo no color correction on that clip. compression isnt that good cos i wanted to keep the file size down. you should be able to get an hv30 for about 500 now new. prolly cheaper used. also, for a fisheye, get this lense: Amazon.com: Opteka Platinum Series 0.3X HD Ultra Fisheye Lens for Panasonic SDR H80, G90, S26, S79, S25, H200, H18, D50, D310, D230, D220, & D210 Digital Video Camcorders: Camera & Photo its exactly like a century baby death. i cant see a difference and ive used both. only difference is the opteka is 99 instead of 390 for a century. |
