How much did you progress this season? - Page 3 - Snowboarding Forum

At the start of last year I couldn't finish any box besides a tiny one or link turns very well. Now I can:

Carve very well
Tailpress on snow
Ride switch so-so
50-50 boxes, kinked boxes, flat rails, and up rails.
BS Board boxes
FS 180 off of jumps
I landed one really wimpy 360
Throw simple grabs (Melon, indy, tindy).

Gotta up the spins next season!

Well, this was my first season ever on the mountain. Only got to go 3 times but I'm happy with how much I accomplished in that short time. This season I'm going as much as I can and I'm hoping to really improve. Can't wait for winter to get here.

Went from just bombing runs to:

riding switch (still slow, but it's there)
straight air
indy grab
backside 180
50-50
flat land tailpress

I quit drinking so much..... I still drink, of course, just not as much.

another thing im proud of is front and back boarding a 20ft long waist high piece od plastic tubing with ribs on it. I believe its used for rolling baseball tarps, but this was at home when we got 1 foot and a half of snow. I took some pretty nice crashes when my edges caught on the big divets in the tube. It was such a good feeling getting up and landing it next try.

I learned to ride switch. Not just ride but good enough so that it is hard to tell

I went from strapping in and tumbling head over heels to riding comfortably and going nuts on a powder day. I'm looking forward to next season.
