New board and Last trip of the season - Whos going to Mammoth this weekend? - Snowboarding Forum

Hey I was wondering if anyone was going to mammoth mountain this weekend? Im going to go prolly get my last trip of the season in and to ride my new board:

Titan 169cm with Bent metal step ins
Flik if you come down to Cali I let you ride it

I just put away all my boards for the season except for my Santa Cruz and my Titan

From left to right: GNU Street series 154, Santa Cruz Wide Pan Head 164, Rome Targas, NS Legacy-r 163, Burton Cartels, 169 Titan with Bent metal step ins, Waxing and tuning stuff

Haha yes I ride my sleigh pulled by a pack of them to the slopes from the beaches of santa cruz all the way to the slopes of Kirkwood

Possibly going June 12-14. Depressing to see their snow base down to 2-4'. Let us know how it is up there.

I will. Haha ive actually never been there for snowboarding. I guess it wont really be at its prime haha but I dont care. Whats the deal with the lifts opening at 7:30??? thats like bulletproof hour

Nice board! Even though you'll be there on the weekend hopefully it won't be too crowded so you'll be able to haul ass around what's left of the mountain and enjoy what that board can do. 7:30 is damn early to be opening the chairs, but it hasn't been getting too cold at night lately so maybe it wouldn't be too bad. I was just up there a couple weeks ago and it was best between about 10 and noon. Even though it wasn't getting down to freezing it was really crusty in the morning, and any time in the afternoon all the flat spots were really tough to make it through they were so wet.

I was hoping for one more trip this season, but the guy I usually ride with just shot himself in the foot with a .45...

I was talking about Salomon Malamute boots since the Titan+Step-in is probably the most gnarly setup out there (outside of hardbooting).
