LOL noice, YA BEARS, rip those stupid bump markers off so I can nail those for air next year, wOOt! Went to Hunter a few times this year but never seen any black bears.

If I saw them on the slope I would of snowed them and see if they would chase after me, hah!

I wish I could see some bears, but only if I had my good camera. I've never been able to get any good shots of wild bears. Snowboarding + bears = epic.

As a boarder i'd be more pissed off at those god awful looking mogul fields they have created than a bear taking up a trail

Those things look like they would break your back...

Im glad i have yet to see a real mogul field here in Oregon....

Ha ha. The bear has it out for that sign. They actually mark off bumps on trails so you can't hit them? That's like all the"no jumping" signs on the trails at Okemo. Ridiculous.

I saw some bears while I was on the chair lift heading up to the Blackcomb glacier in July. I was never able to get a good picture either.

The bears are getting smarter. They are removing the "Trails Merge" and "SLOW" signs from the resorts in an attempt to kill us off. Clever bears.

I think it's more reverse psychology than anything. After all with the majority of the population on the slopes being younglings, they tend to bonk, jib or do the opposite of what the signs say and pretty much ignore looking up the hill anyhow. Maybe Karma will be more intimate with them this year to get the ass hats off the mountain earlier, good thinking bears!

Actually on the Hood River lift their was some pretty bad ones at times. I remember one day they just got about a foot then it was a bluebird day and the snow was so baked that their was moguls everywhere I bombed a run and ran into a mogul field and ended up rolling over the top of them.
