Jiminy Peak, Twilight pass (every day after 3p, includes holidays and blackouts) for $204 after discounts... Can't beat that price for a medium sized resort (or just about any resort)!!

Went behind the lodge and checked out the mountain while I was there. Saw my favorite trails, cried a little, cursed god for all months that weren't December, January, or February, and then left.

Given the place is 25 minutes from my house and solidly in the medium-sized resort category for East Coast, it's a goddamn steal.

The twilight pass works great for me: Get home from work, let the dog out so he can strangle a brownie, throw the gear in the back of the car and hit the slopes. It usually pays for itself in the first two weeks of the season. :)

Ouch! That's dedication. You have my sympathy.

SnowBun's got a subway ride, then a train ride and then a car ride before she gets to the nearest hill. If she wants to be there for a place to open on Sat morn, she's got to leave her place @ midnight... literally.

Congrats and I am sure I will see you up there a more then a couple times this year.

Got my twilight pass earlier so will be up there more this year. Got one for my other hill too so that one will be my daytime home this year for the most part. All in all think I paid about $450 for both. But will get my moneys worth for sure.

Yea, Sugar Mt. in Boone, NC is about 4 hours from me and season pass is $550 with discounts and that is only one mountain. A season pass that is good for all the NC mountains is $775!

Got to order my season pass for Sugar before July 1st, otherwise it goes up another $70.

Never been to Beech. I'm more into all-mountain style riding instead of terrain park but I do want to try some this year. You know Travis, we usually head up together and neither of us are really into the terrain park. Plus he has been to Beech and said he liked Sugar better.

I'm not sure what I'm gonna do. I'm wanting to get a season pass to somewhere but I don't want to limit myself to just one mountain and then regret which one I choose. I know I'll be trying to head up at least 2 weekends a month, probably do the twilight on Friday, all day Saturday and all day Sunday but leave when they shut down for a couple hours in the afternoon, somewhere around 4 I think it was. So 2 all day passes and 1 twilight, twice a month would really start to add up. Be somewhere around $170 per weekend at their normal rates at Sugar. Season pass is $547, so I'd pay for that in just over 3 weekends.
Oh, I'll definitely come out on the good end by far, but it's ridiculous when you see people in SO MUCH better places paying less than half as much for season passes.

Oh really? I wouldn't buy one anyways. I'll spend my 800 bucks on a few trips to snow shoe. I haven't even seen all the places it gives you access to like wolf ridge and app. I think my weekday and night pass should serve me well.
