While a lot of people have probably heard about this, I don't think it's been mentioned on the site yet. Monster energy drink is using bull shit money muscling strong arm tactics against a small Vermont based brewery. I feel it's our duty as a culture influenced by their product to express any concerns we might have. Here is my response to the video that was posted on youtube.

I'm not seeing how Monster will have a case here... regardless, their goal is likely to go into along drawn out legal process and wait until the brewery runs out of money due to legal fees.

Energy drinks are the worst thing you can ever put into your body. Those were one of the hardest things I've ever had to kick in my life, worse than alcohol.

Bravo for bringing this to our attention. Gotta get me some of that Vermonster. 10% ABV and 100 IBU’s? That’s crazy hopped! Not that I ever drank the piss in a can product of Monster, but I certainly will let anyone who does (or supports in anyway the product) what a poor decision they have made.

btw...monster parent co. is Hansen, and Hansen has a Monster distribution deal with Pepsi....so support your local micro brew...not some soul sucking multinational corporation....got it kids!!!!

and how about all the gas used to transport the monster, the electricity for the aluminum, the fucking cans all over the hill and the puking wired up groms...plain old water is the cleaner energy drink
