hey Robertoe! Yea, wifey sent some pics from the backyard showing Sandia completely covered. It looked like 2-3 inches in the yard as well. I'll be back home 12/23 - so if you boys are thinkin' of sneaking through ABQ... don't even! Give me a head's up and we'll ride up together... share the couch, sleeping bags in front of the fireplace, etc. if you want.
My son is coming back with me and be here until about 1/5. Quote:

I was typing without my glasses that should have read 10" instead of 10', this definitely isn't Buffalo. Red River looks like the early season choice. I don't think the Bobster and I can make a trip until after Christmas. The price of oil is killing us, the price of gasoline too, we are having trouble getting away because of it. Big Brother wants us to milk every drop we can. Rumor has it we are being bought out by the biggest brother, if that happens maybe I'll eventually get some retirement out of the deal. Retiring on savings is kind of scary, retiring on savings with a guaranteed check would be sweet. Maybe a little farm in Mora and a nicer lake house in Texas.

Will a buy-out affect Jr too? His side of it sounded fairly owner-proof... everyone needs his services. I was explaining the other night to my Dad about how that all that works - that was an informative dinner!
Well - we'll be headed to Winter Park sometime between Christmas and New Year. Waiting to hear from lil'Shredder on employee hotel deals - if any exist that week. Let me entice you then - IF you all head to Wolf Creek or Angel Fire anytime between 12/25 and 1/5 - we'll work other trips around it. So give me a call if you find yourself thinking like that. |

AWESOME! Wife and youngest are headed for Taos for a day of just enjoying the mountains. But they must be seeing this then unless it's only west of there. Either way - anyone want to hit Wolf Creek - fly in to ABQ and we'll head up over the holidays.
I am seeing snow forecasted this weekend here on the east coast... the lower PA resorts might get hit and then everyone (on here, except Paolo) will be riding. If anyone on the forums want to beat up the old guy... it is looking good for Liberty being possibly open this Friday! It only takes 2 days of snowmaking to open - or one day with help from natural snow. Quote:
