Base Repair - Base Sanded Down to Core!

So dropped my board off at the shop to have a tune/stone grind. Get a call and was told they damaged my board. They refunded me the retail price of the board and the tune and gave me my board back. Is there anything I can do to fix the board? Any suggestions would be appreciated.

Buy some ptex sheet from tognar and use a soldering iron to seal, or use the ptex glue gun. Issue is in area of board that wont affect performance

LOL! They left it propped up against the grinder.

But, they did the right thing for you. Either base weld or wall art.

You may have trouble getting anything to lay flat for you unless you lay a piece of fiberglass over the damaged areas. If you can get epoxy resin and some 4oz glad you can definitely make it safe to ride again. Patch the holes like a major surfboard ding. Ptex on that much surface would result in a hellish mess, that would be a bitch to sand. If you can get the resin smooth enough on the glass, minimal sanding would be necessary.
