Just signed up and wanted to say hi. :)

I live in Westchester, New York, right outside of the cities.

Been riding since 2007, but wasn't all that serious until I started going out to the west few years back.

I normally ride with my boyfriend who's a skier and don't have many snowboarder friends.
I would love to meet some other female riders in my area.
Possibly go for a ride together.

Just got back from epic 13 day trip to Jackson Hole, Aspen Winter X Games, Aspen Mountain, Aspen Highlands, Buttermilk and Snowmass.

Might gather together to post something soon.

I'm 5'3", so he's gotta be somewhere around 5'10".
Crazy all these pros are nothing but the bones and lean muscles.

Crazy. 13 day trip

You could pass for Chloe Kim's older sister haha

btw are you part of the media or a vip, or did you just happen to meet some of the big pro's randomly and were able to scoop a pic?
I know, right?
Maybe "all look the same" had a point. lol

We were there as ESPN guest with VIP access.
My boyfriend bought the package from Jimmy V Foundation charity auction.
I also got to meet Marc McNorris, Mons Røisland, Sebastien Toutant, iPod, Fabian Bosch... etc.
Now my helmet's covered with autographs.

Márquez!!!

Yes, big MotoGP fan. Unfortunately, still have yet to see a live GP.

And shit, you guys must have fat pockets or like I said be VIP's if you're rocking a pit pass in Austin :) haha

Definitely, envious.
Little bit of both.
I do okay and my boyfriend does pretty well.
We also knew some people in the industry.
Hope you make your trip soon.

You ride?
I have CBR600RR Repsol.

Welcome!!! I'm new to the forum here, love to shred, just a little obsessed with it at the moment... loving learning lots here and meeting some other girl riders too, at least in cyberspace. :x:x
Love the pics!
Awesome!
Nice to see another girlie rider!!
I was in Killington last month.
Wanted to check out Jay Peak, but seems like it's not going to happen this season. :(

My life is so boring compare to yours. Welcome.
I work like a dog when my life is not so exciting. ;)

The ski season is pretty long where I live. Starts mid November and ends early June. I don't ride my bike much during that time.

I tried to rig a way to carry my board while riding my bike to the mountains in the spring and early summer but couldn't come up with anything I'm confident with.

I thought about custom backects but have no idea where I would go to get them fabricated.

Thanks. I've seen some of those while googling how I to carry my board.

I live in Vancouver and the surf scene in the city isn't that big and I don't think there would be any store around me that would carry any pre-fab bracketry that I could take a look at to see if I'd be able to use.

If you watch Every Third Thursday, those guys made custom brackets to mount their boards to crotch rockets, but they fab'd everything by hand.

Cheetah racks makes brackets that mount to snowmobiles but when I look at them, I can't think of a way to mount on my bike.

Woot fellow MotoGP fans...

I got lucky and snagged tickets to the 2006 race in Laguna Seca. Got my helmet signed too :)

My bike, on my trip to CA just outside of Amarillo, TX.

It was a pretty awesome trip.

Also OP, I saw the thread of your trip a couple days ago. Super jealous!

Awesome!
I was there 2005 for the first USGP after 11 years!!
I remember 2006 was super duper hot year. :surprise:

Is that 675?
How the hell did you get pulled over in N. TX where speed limit is probably 80??!!
Did you ride to CA???? :jawdrop:

Yup 2006 was burning in that area of CA. It was still pretty nice though compared to Houston.

Yeah it's a 2007 675. And I'm not sure how I got pulled over... it was probably something like 81 in an 80 :p

And also, yup I rode to CA. And Washington, Wyoming, and back. I think that trip was around ~6000 miles round trip.
