hey all! newbie to snowboarding, and i come from a skateboarding background where growing up, i loved watching skate teams like Blind, Plan B, Toy Machine, and Girl put out these real and raw videos that inspired me and always got me pumped to go skate everyday.

now, i've only gone snowboarding twice, but i'm already addicted and have found myself accidentally staying up late at nights just checking out these awesome clips on youtube like Pat Moore's Blueprint S2 Ep 1 & 2. i've heard of the now defunct Forum team, so now i'm wondering if there are still teams like them that put out consistently great footage that's not overproduced.. just straight up joy of snowboarding.

side note: couple of riders that's already caught my attention:

1. Jeremy Jones from the Forum team - is this guy still unsponsored? i don't care how old he is.. his style and passion is inspiring
2. Jake Welch
3. Zak Hale
4. the Shredbots dudes (love that Cali Boys clip)
5. Thorstein Horgmo (Horgasm was awesome)

what do you guys think of the Ride team? curious as that's where Jake Welch is right now. not familiar with the rest of them yet tho. there was another rider i saw from Ride's old vids.. Austin Hironaka, but i don't see him in the roster anymore. i thought his parts were pretty awesome.

i mean like.. teams that put out vids together and look like they truly enjoy just hanging with each other and have fun, while pushing the boundaries. i mentioned Pat Moore's Blueprint vid, since that's what got me thinking about this in the first place, and it's what reminded me of those oldschool skate teams i mentioned.

this was also another vid that reminded me of those fun skate vids.

seems like a bunch of these vids i like have riders from different sponsors... so i was wondering if there is an actual board sponsor that has a team with a tight knit vibe, that just go out there and ride/film like crazy together.

If you haven't watched Scott Stevens from Capita ride a snowboard yet, you need to. Also one specific part I loved when I first got into snowboarding was Travis Parker's part from "Lame". I know it's on youtube somewhere, can't go find it cause I'm at work but definitely a fun vibe to that video. I know these are not teams, but definitely worth mentioning along the same topic!
