Post Personal lessons?

So I'm just starting boarding, I've gone maybe a total of 12-14 times, the last 4 or 5 times with my own board. I'd say I'm doing okay, but I want to be more confident with what I do and I want to be able to ride more fluently switch. Pretty much I want to be able to ride switch pretty fast down a not well-groomed (kinda bumpy and sketchy) hill. Should I get some private lessons? How many lessons would it take if I try really hard all day, from 9am to 10pm?

Thanks guys!

Over the past few years, both my wife and son have had private lessons and progressed a lot in a very short period of time. My wife started in group lessons which were okay to get basics down but says she will always pay the extra $$ and get private. I'm even considering doing some private lessons to help get better in the parks!
