Has anyone ever taken a fall, maybe caught an edge or just landed something badly, and it wasn't that hard but you hit it so perfectly that it felt like you broke something?

Happened to me today. Going off a jump, had a bad approach, couldn't fix it before I landed. Caught the back edge when I touched down. Hit my tailbone. I didn't move for about a minute

I did that. I had just started and it was getting close to the end of the season. The hill I was on should have been closed as it was just a big sheet of ice. Fell on my ass. it hurt so bad I couldn't sit right for the next couple weeks.

Last time I was out at Blue i was coming down and slid out on my toeside on a patch of ice and landed square on my knees, i had to stop for a sec and sit cause it hurt so bad... Just another day as a badass, haha

You might have broke your tailbone. If that's the case, get set for several months of pain while it slooooooooooowly heals.

I nailed mine once. It sucked so bad I went out and got myself some Demon Hard-tail crash pants. I'd have paid 5 times what they were charging to spare myself the pain of another tailbone break. As it is, they've saved my ass (literally) several times over. I never board without them.

A week ago i slipped out on a tube and just landed lightly on my ass but i guess it was the way i fell i couldn't ride for 2 days after that.
