Post Where to study up on snowboarding history?

Does anybody know a good site or something that has a good history of snowboarding and current snowboarding news? I figure if I'm going to be a boarder I should know the history and what's happening.
Thanks!!

check out Powder and Rails by vbs.com

They really get into it and talk about all the OG's from California, the first snowboarding movies and moves that spawned the culture of Snowboarding.

burtontwinner hahaha thank you for that

Bakesale thanks that's a pretty cool site

But yeh aside from the history I was wondering about a snowboarding current news site that keeps posted up to date but I just found one that wasn't on the search list before

I got the Ross Reblegiatti new book for christmas: 'Off the Chain: An insiders history of snowboarding". Really interesting read, although he was more about racing than freestyle, its got some cool stories about snowboardings early days, but its kind of more focused on snowboarding from a competition perspective. Definitely reccommend it though.

Also watch "Let it ride" the craig kelly story. Snowboarding has a really cool history, for sure, and its good to know it because most new age boarders don't.
