brociety?

Is this site legit or a scam? What profit do they make selling products for so cheap?

Brociety.com: DC Helix Jacket - Men's - $74.99 - 66% off

Legit,

That site along with WhiskeyMilitia.com: Element Our Mountain Pink Triangles Cruiser Complete - $48.75 - 61% off and Steep and Cheap: Sierra Designs Verde 40 Sleeping Bag: 40 Degree - $64.99 - 64% off have links with cheap gear there likely from stock that never sold from the past season. I've bought from steepandcheap last year, got the gear with no problem.

Government - If you think the problems they created are bad, just wait until you see their solutions.

Screw being normal

it's just a closeout site, I believe affiliated with Dogfunk/Backcountry (might be mistaken?). They gotta move inventory. Overbought, overstocked, gotta make room for spring/summer merch. Even if they're losing money, it's better to lose $20/jacket than to let that shit take up warehouse space, and *never* sell it. Warehouse space, which you could use to stock items that people *will* buy. basic economics of opportunity cost: sometimes you have to take a loss.

Actually most of what they sell are closeouts from the manufacturers (Burton makes too many of something and what they have left over they sell at a discount to Brociety). They are still making money off the stuff. But they have some great deals, sometimes too many great deals.

So if they got a warehouse full of last years stuff they gotta sell why do we have to look at stuff one item at a time for like half an hour. I never see stuff I would want.

i think it's the whole limited supply hype mentality.. like those home shopping channels
& they need to give enough time for the people who want to buy

I've been additcted to them for a few months now. They're the devil...lol I got northwave decade boots for 79 bucks. A few burton jackets like 68% off retail, it was hard to say no.

Gearscan has a 6 sites on it. Brociety, Tramdock, Steep and Cheap, Whiskey, Bonktown and Chain Love.

I think the fact that there's a countdown pressures you into getting it since you'll be afraid to miss out on that deal....
