Amazon.com: Hertel "Super Hot Sauce" All Temperature Ski and Snowboard Wax, 3/4 lb Brick: Sports & Outdoors

That should cover you and a couple friends for the whole season. I use the bluebird soy wax but only because I got it for $4 a piece from Zumies a while back. So I got 1.2lbs of wax and 6 scrapers for $24.

The HotSauce came in the mail today and is sitting in front of me as we speak. Can't wait to use her. My boards already waxed, but I wanna cut into this block so bad. Super Saturation anyone?

I bought a bar of wax at the store and I was wondering if it would be alright to just rub it on my board without using an iron to hot wax it. It didn't come with a cork though.

It's alright as in it won't hurt your board. It sucks as in it won't do you any good without an iron. Hot wax is the only wax worth anything and using a hot iron is the only way to apply it worth anything.
