Are Magnetraction Boards Noisier?

I'm using a magnetraction board (Rossi Jibsaw) for the first time, and I find it really noisy compared to previous boards. I'm in the French Alps and the pistes are wind scoured ice so I'm having to scuff off speed and sideslip down some steep bits which is where it's most noticeable. Is this the same for all magne boards?

I normally carve tight arcs and where it's hardpack, rather than frozen concrete, the edge is doing it's job. The MT is doing a good job of controlling the drift when required but it just makes some noise about it. I've heard other noisy snowboarders but never noticed if they were on boards with MT.

Wel, those multiple contact points would make scraping noises that when combined would be louder than non mag. Haven't seen data on this but I assumeis true. When I hear screaming ice under my mag, I feel assured the tech is doing its job. So I kinda like it. Also scares Jerries off. A nice byproduct.
