im new to this forum and im just looking for a reasonable answer to this madness. ive own the burton un..inc the burton LOVE and the burton X8 all have cracked on the right side of the nose right before the tip curves up. i dont do rails im def not a newb and i only do jumps. obviously i fall cause im not tryin to do the same jumps over and over just straight airing them. but i never fall really hard...or hard enough to CRACK a board let alot three in one month. im just curious if it could be the bindings (flux-titans) just if i land a lil weird the board kinda just does its own thing cause of all the freedom they give u. or since i mainly nolly other then olly..and i waddle if i get caught up on a flat spot (damn mounatin creek, NJ) i do everything backside so 180 360 540 all backside tried frontside once (burton love) but didnt work out well lol but board didnt break and that prob was my worst fall this whole season. i honestly feel like a burton board tester lol i honestly treat my boards like they are my babies its mad but when u have a 300$,500$, and 650$ board strapped to ur feet with 250$ bindings u kinda think u would treat them with care. im completely stumped and really hoping someone can help im kinda fucked for a few weeks till burton send me a new board....for the fourth time

You're landing heavy on the nose and stressing it causing it to break. Go with a new company.

I'm not the most experienced guy... (and I wouldn't say Burton makes the greatest boards ever...), but you shouldn't have broken three Burton boards in one month...
What sizes are you using and how much do you weigh/how tall? Other than that, probably your technique... |

i dont know what your thinking riding a burton. And after they have let you down 3 times in a row!? Any particular reason why you ride a burton?
If all you do is jump, look for a Lib tech Phoenix series jamie lynn without banana, The board has an UNREAL amount of pop. Set that sucker on the ground, step on it, and release it, it pretty much jumps off the floor. get off the burton |

Ok first of all I'm having a few issues believing this story...
Quote:
How are you mounting flux titans to a board with the ICS???? Quote:
Second how much do you weigh and what length of boards are these? I ride the living hell out of my X8 and have had no issues whatsoever. Quote:

Get another X8 >>> Sell it >>> buy something else. If I broke 3 of anything from a company in a month, I'd be done with them for life. Get a Darkstar or something. Should be much more reliable and much less $$.
