home made backyard park?

alright i have been snowboarding for 2 years i love park and want to build one. i want to know if pvc will work? i have heard that it can chip and then scratch board is this true? i have all the wood i need so let the recomendations fly. the only problem is the hill it is not very big. big enough to do some stuff just dont suggest any rails with lots of speed needed. and i cant watch video on this computer so dont post video. all plans are welcome and i would love to start my park soon!
