Why stop it? Language is constantly evolving. Its practically another language on the home hill. For example riding up a chair with probably a 27 year old local who said something like this. "ya brah, top 5 da budder, midz cottage cheese, and bottom fookin ball bearings...so jes lappin da budder...here kitty kitty."

I've heard "gnar" for about a year know, "Legit" overused for a few months mostly with the latest younger teens, but no "Stellar" yet.

I've also noticed that back when I was a freshmen in high school "Mad" kinda died off but seems to have come back here and there lately.

A couple boarding trips ago I was on a lift with two very extremely color coded younger boarders and I actually had a hard time following their conversation at all... No technical terms but ALL slang.

To all those ppl who say that legit is legit.. im dissapointed in u.. when u hear 12 year old kids sayin it and ppl from florida, u know its been way overused. and sometimes it fits the context but most of the time it just sounds retarded.
