I just got a medical done at work, i figured i wouldnt do too crash hot on some things and am working to fix those... one of the things that really did surprise me was the fact my hearing is not too flash... he said to me that i am on the threshold were i can cause some serious damage to my hearing. one of the reasons he said this could happen is long exposure to noise, i work in an office so that is not really an issue but what has probably caused this is (1) my car stereo, i have had some serious sounds put in and man i pump them... (2) Ipod usage when i train, i use it when i do cardio and weights and always have it loud in fact on max... he told me that i should be able to hear a conversation whilst i have music on, the way i use it now no way Jose... just thought i would put it out there so people were aware of this and did somethine about it before it got to a point where it can be a problem... btw im only 27...

Music from my truck can be heard clearly blocks away and my ipod is always on max. Luckily I still have excellent hearing.

I cant remember. I dont remember my eyesight numbers either. Eyes are better than 20/20 though. I always that 20/20 was "perfect".

I max out the mp3 player when at the gym. Funny that the doc said you should be able to hear other people's conversations, that is exactly why I turn the volume up full blast in the gym, so I can't hear other people conversations...
Pete, what part of KY are you from. Good to see other snowboarders from KY on here. |
