Better deals now or after season

If u were buying snowboarding stuff for 2010-2011 season, do u buy now or wait for better deals march-april to buy at end of season? Just don't want to pass up a good opportunity if now is the time to buy. Looking for board, bindings, boot, and goggles. First time buying so I don't know what is considered a DEAL.

you can get a lot better deals later around march but there will be less to buy. you can get some really nice goggles for around 60% off during the summer at steapandcheap.com and whickeymilitia.com

Sierra had the best deals I saw last year. Seemed like every week they alternated boards/bindings/boots/all other accessories for 70% off. Not too far off Either... I picked up my artifact 70% off and still had time to ride last year. Our season ends mid march in the SE so it must've been late febuary. Hold off another month bro. It pays, I promise.

great deals to be had in a couple months. If you can hold out I would wait.

Don't go where the road leads, rather go where this is no road and make a trail.

I know I could wait for them to go even lower, but selection will be worse. Last year I bought some Rome Targa's for $150, but had to settle for the white ones. I've always preferred the black, so I just pulled the trigger on some black Targas for $175. I wish I would have waited for this sale to buy my pants. 686 Original Cargo for $140!! Great deals now with good selection of sizes and colors. I wouldn't wait till March or April if the product is popular because they'll likely be sold out of your size. That's the way my luck works.

30% off is still good...if you wait till it goes to 40 or 50 then what you want may sell out. Thank god I don't need anything this year... Last year I was watching sales everyday. Got myself and my son almost complete new set ups and didn't pay more than 50% off of it.

I would wait. Since it's your first time buying, you probably don't have your heart set on anything specific. Although selection will dwindle, you will more than likely still be able to find something suitable for you at a steeper discount in a month or two.

Seems like the best deals are the March-April ones. The last few years though, retailers have been chopping their prices in early to mid February. From what I have heard/read, retailers did great with the early season sales, but it's now slipped way off. So they are going to be blowing stuff out. It's good to research what you want and what it goes for. That way, you'll know if during the sale it's a good deal. If it is, just buy it.
