im sure the quantity of snow is there .. albeit scattered around and will, like the article states, need to be moved from some areas of the mtn to the other.... my issues is temperatures... the half pipe really needs to be frozen .. slushy pipes are fun for play bad for contests ... I can just see someone now coming down and slamming the lip taking a good 2 foot by 2 foot section right off .. what then? VANOC dropped the ball on this one... they wanted to avoid the embarrassment of having to move the venue to whistler or C.O.P. or where ever and now that they really should theyve waited too long for it to be logistically possible ... I really cant fathom a boarder cross course on this ... good luck though tbh I really hope they can pull it all together

BULLSHIT!!! I hate Wii fit for that very reason, it puts all of it's emphasis on BMI (Body Mass Index which is Kg body weight/Height in M squared) with no consideration given to 2 important things which actually reflect physical fitness levels, % of body fat and Kg of LBM (Lean Body Mass). Total crap.

Anyways, I'll be interested to see what kind of shape Cypress is in after the Olypics with the all the dumptrucks of snow they've taken from the top of the mountain.

it's not like it's been 10 degrees or anything like that

it will be no different than your typical march pipe

new snow this week + air temperatures consistently around freezing forecasted = not that bad

the courses are east-facing

Actually, weather forecasts for this week are supposed to climb up to double digits (Celcius).
