Mounting Discs

I have a couple pair of Rome 390's. The mounting disc cracked on the front binding on both of them. I don't see myself as a hard rider. Don't hit big jumps, just jib some rails and boxes. Ride 2-3 times a week. Has anyone else had this with their 390's? Love the bindings otherwise, and Rome has been great to work with sending me new ones. I am 6'5" 220lbs, so probably a little more stress on them than the average boarder. Also,I have a couple of old Ride mounting discs that are metal laying around somewhere at home. Think those would be compatible with the 390 binding?

im almost your exact height and weight and though i have not cracked any rome plates i have cracked others. i wouldnt used the ride plates for fear that you might strip the base plate of the actual binding. like you said, rome has excellent customer service, i would just wait until they send you the new one.
