Best drop-in material?

I just bought a house and there's no hill...just a slight incline so I'm going to build a series of drop-ins for my collection of rails and boxes. The question is what, in your experience, is the best material for the drop-in down ramp?

I've seen some astro turf stuff with snow thrown on it a couple of times and was also considering buying a few sheets of UHMW poly but I'd rather not spend that kind of $$$

When our resort does the preseason rail jam they use astro-turf with dishsoap. Just make sure there's no carpet seams on the drop in.

Edit: my bad I didn't realize you meant regular winter season, but they do bring in hockey rink shaved ice and throw it on there too, so I'm assuming it should work the same.
