Default Vent!!

[begin rant] What the holy CRAP is up with this weather? We got dumped on with 6 inches of snow here (a lot for Indiana), but four days later the temps were almost 60 and everything melted. Then we got a full week of 40 degree weather and hard rain. NOW it has snowed again. We're hearing almost 12 inches when all is said and done. The temps by Wednesday? 51 degrees. WHY oh WHY am I being teased like this?! I'm taking a panic trip to the hill tomorrow while there is still some snow. I haven't gotten to go yet this year even though we've had plenty of snow. I'd rather the temps just stay up rather than snow then melt over and over again. I'm sick of it and I demand winter! [end rant]

last year, pretty much the whole of europe had sub zero temps, but pure arsed blue skies and thus zero snow!

be grateful for what little you get and when you get it, ride!

Yeah, I hear ya man...I am heading to Alaska in less than a week for 10 days of riding and they are getting nothing. Welcome to "Climate Change"...regardless of the cause or it`s longevity, the fact is things weatherwise are all effed up from what we have come to think of as "normal"

I feel your pain brother, the NC mountains have gotten the same kinda crap. How about this for weather. Three weeks ago, they got 6-8 in natural snow, weather was good enought to blow snow for two straight weeks, got up to a 48" base. The next week, temps got into the high 70s for almost a full week! Melted down to thin cover. This week, sub freezing temps around the clock and 6 in of natural snow again, last night it got into the single digits, and they have blown snow back up to a 36" base. Its been 30-80-40-75 here for the past month! Get cold and stay cold already!

Ugh. I hate it when people don't go ride because of a lack of fresh snow. Riding in ice coast like conditions sure as hell makes me appreciate what I have!
