i was wondering if there was any bad effects

i was wondering if there was an bad effects hot wax my board every time? i just got into snowboarding this year and i been using rub on wax and i hate it theirs a lot of work just so i can have it come off the board every 3 runs so please help me.

Not really.

Though hot wax will last longer. I generally hot wax every fourth time I use my snowboard.

Rub on wax only lasts a run or two.

If you try the search function you'll find tons and tons and tons of threads on this.

Unless you are on the harshest of crap snow a decent hot wax will last at least 2 days.

i have another question is will the wax come off easier in a wet snow or powder becuse i wonder how often i should wax then

Ha! Not really abuse, just if you are concerned about glide it's nice to keep it waxed on a regular basis. I've definitely gone seasons in the past where I've only waxed 2-3 times for the year. To each his/her own...

I always wait till I start to stick....but I also keep a can of wd40 handy in case of emergency....I also still ride a 03 that rally's just fine...maybe lack of maintenance is key....you tried the wd out yet kill??? Promise me you will when it starts to get spring...you will praise me, I swear.....
