well, things didn't go as I envisioned.
Still had a great time with my boys and they had fun
I practiced my switch riding still weak, but getting there.
I was hitting the jumps good. Much more speed, good pop off the lip, pulling my knees to my chest, good balance in the air and good stomp landings. I almost even did a FS grab, not bad for an old guy
I was still not rotating enough on my 180's
I did hit one late in the day, felt great, good twist, lots of lift, stomped the landing, then WHAM bif, switch riding to weak for faster speeds. It hurt bad, even with the impact shorts. About an hour later I was done. I even tried to just slowly link turns which was fine, but putting the bindings on, ouch, so I called it a day about an hour early
Taking 2 weeks off, as schedule is to busy to ride so it'll give me some heal time. All-in-all still progressing for an older guy just starting out. I'm happy with my riding, but still much to learn.
Practice, Practice, Practice and I'll get there.
