snowboard magazines - Snowboarding Forum

alright....im new to snowboarding have only been three times but took to it quickly and am now addicted. All i can think about is when i will get to go again. So to learn more about the scene i went and grabbed a few magazines. I was disappointed though because none of the magazines seem to have any focus on new riders. As great as it is to see Gigi Ruff flying off a cliff i was looking more for tips on what to do your first couple times out...what not to do to not look like any idiot or backround stuff on the scene and riders in general. Maybe i am not finding the right magazines. I am not trying to disrespect snowboarding and would one day love to care about the pro's back country riding trips but for now im on more of a newbie scale. any one have this same problem or ideas for good reading material. thanks
