Skiing/Snowboarding trip on the Alps of Switzerland (near Gstaad) - spots to fill NOW - Snowboarding Forum

We are going snowboarding on the Swiss Alps the first week of March. Leave US Feb 28, arrive there March 1st leave March 6 (ski/snowboard March 2,3,4,5 and maybe 6).

We rented a house but we had a last minute cancellation and so we are looking to sell the quotas. There is a single room and a double room available right now so we have room for one person, two people, three people or a couple and a third person. No kids. 5 days $400 per person (that's only $80 a night!!!!!!!). This includes the usage of the house. Airfare and train ride from the airport to the town are your responsibility (airfare from the US is around $500-700 and train ride from Zurich is about $70 each way and from Geneva is about $50 each way). We share the food expenses (we go shopping and cook). Also equipment rental is your responsibility (if you don't bring your own).

We go to this place every year and it is AMAZING!!! We are very familiar with the area. There are 250Km (hundred of miles!!!!) of slopes, 60 lifts and hundreds of interconnected slopes on a dozen connected mountains, it's better than ANYTHING you ever experienced in the US! It's the Swiss Alps, and that says it all!

Does the $400 include lift passes?

Wow thats a hell of a deal if it includes lift tickets. I almost wish I was single again

Sorry the price is ONLY for the house.
All other expenses (flights, train from airport to town, lift passes, food and gear rentals if you need any gear) are on you. I still think $400 for a swiss chalet is a steal! It's a gorgeous one too and it is RIGHT ON THE SLOPES... you put your board/skis on in front of the door and you ski/board right to the door...

Life passes are actually MUCH cheaper than in the US... I believe last year I paid about $300 for 5 days.

fasrfino, you can bring your partner, you don't need to be single!
