As snowboarders we all come into a variety of snow conditions. Whether it be on the east coast or the west coast the snow we ride can be good...or can be bad.
Alot of you have heard the term "ice coast" which reflects the east coast. Well we earn that title proudly! because if you can ride here...u can ride anywhere. Last night I met this guy and his brother who were here from utah on vacation for xmas...family lives here. On the way up the chair they were talking about the difficulty in riding our trails...The ice factor was too much for the guy..I explained that because it is night time the runs freeze and you need to be carefull.
Is it easy riding on this soo called icy condition?? well lets take a look. I shot this vid last night intentionally on an icy groomed trail that just got opened. If u have speakers you can clearly hear the ice.
So lets use this thread to post different conditions around the world. If u have a small vid show it.. a nice shot of pow...go for it.
