Wasnt sure where to post this at. My 6 and 7 year old have been doing real well. I was thinking about entering them in a Boardercross event at the local mountain in the Ruggie division. I am not sure if they would do well at it or if it would turn them off to doing it(if they do poor). Anyone have any insight on taking their little one out to a competition like this?
Thanks. |

My 5 year old just did his first comp. and he loved it. Here is a link from last weekend, he is number 68 his one jump starts at like 38 sec. SFTC Big Air 2/20/10 on Vimeo.
I would say go for it and just make it fun. Last edited by Catman; 02-23-2010 at 11:25 PM. |

I think I will work with them a little more before I take them to a competition.... the wife wants to wait a little longer to make sure they will be ready....
Thanks. Not bad for a 5 year old if I do say myself....I cant do that! Gib |
