Where should I begin my upgrades?

I have a set of low end gears that I bought last season for learning. Now that I have advanced and gained interest in riding terrain parks, I would like to start upgrading my gear. In the park I will mainly be doing small jumps, rails and boxes. I was interested in upgrading to a freestyle board that can still give me a nice ride if I choose to just ride down a slope. But after reading through the forums, I've learned that boots and bindings are just as important, if not more important than the board itself. Below is my equipment. I am also interested in hearing any product recommendations and board sizes. I'm a casual rider (I go riding once every other week or so), and I was hoping to spend no more than $250 on a board. Here's my equipment, let me know where you guys think I should start.

I am about 5'11'',
200 lbs,
size 12 boots.

DC Sith Boots (Sorry for the ebay links, hard to find any shopping sites with info on these boots)

As for the boots, im sure they're low end, but while i've been riding I haven't really gone through any discomfort thats made me start looking into boots, but at the same time I dont know how much better a different set of boots can be. Thanks for all your inputs
