Is that a better place to go snowboarding? Lol. Just trying to get opinions, maybe someone to help learn, if I go there.

I did not even know there were ski resorts in NC but I have only visited Charlotte and that is a boring place. You should take a long road trip up to Vermont.

Lmao!! I wanna go to PA SOOOOOOOOOOOOO BAD!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! But yeah, they have ski resorts in NC... I'm looking at.. Appalachian Ski Mountain in Blowing Rock, NC. :\ Anyone heard of it?

Good choice! I like the resorts in PA. Usually I head out to Jack Frost and Big Boulder because they usually are not crowded but MauiWowie probably knows which are the best places to check out.

yeah, we thought it was gonna be 14 hours.. but it's like 9 :\ lol.. but we're staying all weekend so yeah it's worth it.

I live in NC! I really enjoyed my trips to Appalachian Ski Mtn. and Sugar Mountain. Although I am still inexperienced as a rider, I would think that these two resorts are good for a beginner, since I enjoy them and learned how to board on them pretty quickly.
