Beginner Set-Up?

Sorry if this is the wrong section. Could a mod please move it, if it is?

Hey, I want to start snowboarding next winter, I'll be a hobbyist more than an enthusiast. I need to find a nice board set-up.

What I'll be doing:

I'm going to be mostly just boarding, a few jumps here and there. Nothing intense, just mostly boarding for the fun of it.

What's a decently nice set-up? Money shouldn't be an issue, as I have 8-9 months to save.

Any help, please?

If you're just starting, try renting equipment at first. If it's possible to demo (rent pretty much any new board of your choice) try that, so you can get a feel for the stiffness, pop, length, and the various other factors that go into a board having the right feel for you and your type of riding. If you absolutely want to go ahead and buy some of your own equipment, go for boots first. Try on pairs until you find one that fits like a glove.
