Sierra snow shipping to Canada?

Hey i am thinking of buying some boots and bindings tonight from sierra. My question is if anyone has ordered from them in Canada was there a large shipping cost when they were delivered to you? (ordered board from porters tahoe last year and had to pay 60 bucks when it arrived at my house) Thanks in advance!

I got my nitro swindle last week from sierra. Paid $26 for fedex expedited shipping and $24 for GST and duty. You probably paid some kind of brokering fee to the shipping company when you paid 60 bucks, Fedex covers the brokering fee is you use expedited shipping.

Brokerage is free when you pay to ship Fedex express. I initially said expedited, the correct term is express. FedEx Express International Economy is what I chose and did not get charged brokerage fee.

On the other hand, if you ship Fedex ground, it will be a lower shipping cost and then they charge you clearance entry fee which is based on amount of duty. http://www.fedex.com/us/services/pdf...nformation.pdf

Zee, you don't pay brokerage on priority shipping, it's included in the service.

Yep, I checked with FedEX. Picked up a 156 Rome Postermania and 390's.

sierra is by far my favorite site for great discounts and FAST shipping... the return policy on backcountry is ridiculously awesome, but sierra has such great deals (and I'm sort of addicted to their chat room)

I bought a snowboard and got it shipped to canada. In total i had too pay 147.94 or something, but that included shipping, duty, brokerage, and whatever else.

Yeah express shipping. When I ordered last week they had 3 choices: ground, express economy and express priority, I chose express economy and only took 4 days to get here.

I chose Priority, the other option was Economy ground. Priority was only ~$35... not bad.
