PN is not bad for Indiana terrain, but the crowds are insane. I've spent 15 minutes in line there to ride for 30 seconds up the hill. It's really bad on weekdays, but weekends are hopeless.
Paoli Peaks is just about as good, but the lines are half as long. I'd recommend going there instead if it's an option.

Starting to see more Kentucky snowboarders on here, that is good thing.
Perfect north is all right....it is not a mountain though, it has a 400 vertical foot drop and it is the best place with in a two hour drive of Louisville. I ran into PA snowboarders in Telluride...they were telling me that here hills had 1600 foot vertical drop..PN has 400 vertical drop...so perfect north is considerably smaller than the stuff in PA. |
