mobile communication on the slopes - Snowboarding Forum

Hi all.

I was wondering if you guys ever have trouble taking out your cellphones to make or answer calls with your gear on.

I was thinking of implementing a simple module to allow easy phone calls with a cellular module, but I'm not sure if something already exists, or whether it'd be beneficial at all.

i never bother taking my phone on the slopes b/c of the cold and wetness. i just set times with friends to meet at the bottom of runs. but i board w/ a hoodie on...so i might be an exeption.

My MP3 player is also my phone so my phone interupts my music when it rings. Come to a stop and say answer and Im talkin on the phone. Works out pretty well.

red makes a helmet with blue tooth capabilitys. if i was that concerned with yaking on the phone while riding i guess i might get one of those. i actually am on the phone quite a bit when riding because of my work. i just let it ring and check my messages on the lift, no biggie.
