What a douchebag there would be no talking if someone just punched me or pushed me over while riding.

(Please note: No problem unstrapping from the board. I would've done that too in case the guy decided to try something)

I agree fully.

Skier was as you say.

But the snowboarder just kept going after him after he left. He should've thrown himself into some of that snow and cooled down. There was no call for that.

Wow....

I don't consider myself a violent person but on the hill I absolutely defend myself and my friends to the fullest.

Me and Fluid have been in a similar situation and is all it would've took to escalate it was for the skier to do what this guy did, to Fluid. It's really a shame because we're all out there to have fun and it always seems to be the skiers that want to start shit. And it was over the snowboarders having fun and playing around... What a dick move

I think the skier was bluffing talking about his 'kids'.

He sounded 100% queer and looked 110% queer when you took his skis off and went on about how he was going 'fuck the one guy up'.

Sorry guys, I know everyone will say walking away would be the right thing to do but if that was me the guy wouldnt have been able to get a word out after that. I would have dropped him immediately. Buy the time he realized what had just happened I would already be unstrapped and pounding his face in.

Then I'd strap in and ride away while saying have a nice day.

Same. I've never been a fighter though. Of course I'd stand up for my wife and kids, etc, but in a situation like that... there's no point in going to that level. Smile, tell him he's done and show the footage to Ski Patrol.
