my first "confrontation"

At the mountain today I had my first confrontation with this Russian guy. His wife, obviously a first time skier, was going down a blue and decided to stop, lay down, and make a snow angel on the blind side of a crest.

So I came over the crest with some speed, and although I was able to avoid crashing into the woman, I hit her ski, face planting HARD into the ground and breaking my goggles.

But the best part of the story comes when the husband, some 4'0 Russian guy, flies down the mountain out of control (obviously has never snowboarded before again), SLAMS into my girlfriend knocking her off the trail, and grabbing me by the coat trying to pick a fight. Then some ski instructor came and told the guy to go away.

Cool story huh? I just felt I had to post it, especially after watching that Skier dad video.

Confrontation

I'm as gentle as possible until they get abusive. Then, elbows become a great asset. Just sayin...

they do lots of damage in close quarters. Especially after he grabbed me, seeing he was new to boarding you should have just thrown him down, """ I can't get up """ Randy from a Christmas Story
