It sounds like you have a concussion, in which case you NEED to go to the doctors/Hospital asap

You're probably going to start puking soon. I suggest you go to sleep face down on top of a big down comforter and make sure no one disturbs you for a few days.

Defintely get to a doctor. You definitely have a concussion and probably a pretty major one. I've been knocked out cold twice. It sucks. Definitely a really weird experience. I never had any vision issues though. The dizziness, headache, nauseau, etc. - yeah, I had that.

Skip the doctor and go the ER. If you have swelling of the brain or any internal bleeding issues, you might not wake up in the morning. Seriously.

Assuming your head is clear enough to read: Concussions

According to that, you had at least a Grade III concussion, fairly serious. Go to the ER / Urgent Care. Also, if you conk yourself again any time soon, you're especially susceptible to permanent brain damage.

Listen to Kool Moe Dee and go see the doctor.

Default Nerd Dan time

Concussions are bad, but the 2 types of brain injuries to watch for due to the ease in which they can kill you are Subdural and Epidural Hematomas. Both are usually caused by head tramas but they are found between the brain and different protective layers which encompass it. Seeing as your not dead I can rule out and epidural because they involve an arterial bleed which is fast and responsible for feeding the brain with oxygenated blood. However a subdural bleed (still probably unlikely) is a slower bleed and worsens over time. That is because the patient goes unconscious (like you did), comes to (like you did), and slowly begins to bleed blood into the head cavity. The crainial cavity does not have a lot of room for this blood to form so over 24-48 hrs pressure within the skull begins to grow higher and higher. This will cause headaches, nausea, vomiting, dizziness, blurred vision, and then loss of consciousness, and death. Chances are you only have a concussion, but why risk it? Especially when you can support you democratic party and get the tests for free? (sorry, had to)

P.S. If you wake up tomorrow with black eyes or bruising behind your ears, congrats, you have a skull fracture.

Now to watch some Sunny In Philadelphia to return to normal, time to put nerd Dan back in his cage.
