And with a size 12 I kinda doubt it.... The Society has a fairly deep sidecut. Unless your boots have a seriously small footprint, I would recommend a midwide or a wide board.
Could get a wide DH... It's geared a little more towards all mountain riding but it's still a fun stick.
are u 100% sure that the shoe size wouldnt fit?..i wanted to get ride anthem's size 12... and i was pretty set on the society, sorta seemed like the perfect stick for me.
Each boot is different so I can't be positive.... But I would HIGHLY recommend doing your research on what width of a board your boots work with.
11-12 is the grey area on whether or not you need a wide board. And with this board having such a deep sidecut/narrow waist I personally doubt you're going to fit on it without having issues dragging your feet. You could always buy risers if you're set on this stick, but there's to many options in this world to settle and get risers imo.
So, the society seems to be a no-go..bummer =/.. decided on the burton v rocker 159, does that sound about right? im 5'11..still growing to probably 6'0 , and about 160.. is the v rocker wide enough for size 12 boots? and also can the nitrane contrabands go on the v rocker?
wow... start off needing a quick answer on a certain question, then don't listen...
unfortunatly, people like you and me are on the cusp of mid to wide boards. the best bet is to bring your boots into a shop and get it done that way. might not save you that 40 bucks, but come one. a couple years worth of proper riding is worth it.... i hope. don't settle for an internet choice when a real life person will give you a better response.
