Snowboarding Outside the Mountain
 

Has anyone ever tried boarding like on rails at schools or something. I always thought it would be cool to hit the rails at my University but didnt try it this winter. Has anyone tried this kind of thing. I wouldnt think id get kicked out very fast if I did it on a snowday when campus is closed. It would be really sweet. If anyone has tried this or has any tips like what to bring( a shovel to build ramps) id like to know.

you need a banshee bungee or car or drop in ramp or a hill to get speed.
If the snow is really fluffy and wont stick together you might want to bring a water spray bottle to harden your jump up a bit.
Make sure you are actually legit a doing rails first or stairs can mess you up.:thumbsup:

Thats bad ass. I guess im pretty legit at rails lol. But at my university its really hilly there are actually like 5 or so rail with hills above them and grass to the side. So if i get water and shovels i could probably set up a decent ramp either at the beginnign or maybe to the side at an angel to the longer rails. Now I just gotta wait for a sweet snow storm. OH and were you kicked out when you hit that rail. I imagine they frown upon that kinda thing. I skate and get kicked out sometimes but its no biggie just annoying

Actually no one cares when people hit that rail, probably because its right beside a skate park though.

I will definitely have to try it when winter comes around again. Ill try to remember to bring a camera and post some pictures or something. But that wont be for a long while haha
