As long as you are in control and aren't hurting anyone else go as fast as you can. I know I do.

I also agree with you. I think I got a concussion my second day learning to snowboard. Haven't really hit my head hard since. *knocks on wood*

I still don't remember a several hour timeframe from when I got knocked out cold while riding. Never will
