Kinda Lame question

So i wanna film my buddies snowboarding, but i feel like im going to loose my camcorder on the chairlift. Anyone else have this problem? or find a solution for it?

i was thinking about getting a go pro helmet camera but im not sure

Throw the camera in a camera bag that locks securely closed and has a shoulder strap. You could also put a nice wrist strap on the camera for when it is out of the bag.

These guys are at the resorts with kiosks. I think emotioncam rents HD cameras.
