World's Most Isolated Snowboarders - The Extreme Measures To Board

G'day From Down Under,

I thought you might all enjoying seeing the lengths we went to so we could snowboard in the South West of Australia where the average annual snowfall is 0 inches and the nearest ski field is 3500 kilometres away.

This is not one of those fancy indoor ski facilities either ...... Check the video to understand the efforts we made

That's awesome. You obviously have to love the sport to go to those lengths.

That's just awesome. I live in the Middle East and get to ride indoors @ Ski Dubai. I miss the real mountains but don't get to see them very often.

Looks like you guys had a blast!

Not sure what you mean by dicky but we made the most of what we had available which wasn't that much.

Nice,

Snowboarding would be massive in Austrlia if we had good moutnains and decent snow. I'm from Melbourne so at least I can go to NZ. Even a trip to NZ is a full mission!

So many runs so little time.

Very true, in fact there are some pretty amazing uncrowded surf breaks about ten minutes from where we built the jump but where's the challenge in that !
