New Tires - Snowboarding Forum

Ordered some new AS Yokohama AVID ENVigor (W) for my WRX, theo Sumitomo HR + I had on were completely gone...they did fairly good on the snow last season, but wore up fast. ANyone using the same tire? Who actually has 2 sets of wheels with summer/winter tires?
I remember the amazing diffference I felt driving with new AS...the car was sticking to the icy road.

I run 2 Sets on my STi, 18" summer rubber, and 17" Toyo Garit KX. They are great in the winter, but quite expensive.

I Can see you need 2 sets up there..

I was in Revelstoke last season, 4 days...amazing place, even if the mountain was dirt half way up. Here I can get away with AS tires...

I'll throw in here that I just got myself a scoobytruck (Baja) with a 2.5L turbo-charged boxer and only 52K miles.

Had to say bye to my baby Honda to afford it tho.

Always liked the Bajia...looks perfect for sports and snow trips, and you see really few of them around. 52K is nothing, I'm at 88K and the car goes better than ever.
