I am going to compete in a boarderX competition soon and want to know if any one has any basic tips that might help me.
I have previewed the course and already ridden it a couple of times.

Don't you dare speed check any of the jumps. You have to suck it all up and send it straight off everything. He who can handle straight lining it off the features wins. Wax/snow temp is a huge factor as well. Plan for it.

i always wanted to get involved with competing in it but couldnt find anything close to me.....my only advice is to wax wax wax....make sure u do plenty of research as far as which wax to use with what type of snow condition.....technique WILL win the race....but if its neck and neck with a suitable opponent of the same skill....its the wax that will make that split second dif

Weather was clagged in and the track closed. Cheers for your advice everyone, I didnt get to use it though.
