Default Shorty wet suit for base layer

I am curious if anyone has ever tried using a shorty wet suit for a base layer. If so, did it work out for ya? I am getting one for sailing in the spring and fall months, and it would be cool if I could find a use for it in the snow as well.

Anyway, just bored, and that always brings out some of my dumb ass random thoughts. I am stoked though that our season is almost here.

terrible idea. sit around in your house wearing a wetsuit for 2 hours and see how it feels. I can hardly handle sitting around in the sun wearing it in a boat while waiting to ski or wakeboard

Horrrrrrible idea. Sorry buddy but you want something that will breath very well and keep you warm and dry.

High quality synthetic materials are the only way to go. Cotton and a god damned wet suit are about as bad of an idea as it gets haha
