Jerimiah Pebley?

I've seen a lot of tributes to this guy lately. Anyone know who he is or what happened to him?

I saw a link on a new zealand website that said he worked at Snow Park Tech.

He was the park manager/head builder at Mt. High in Cali and had ties to Bear and Mammoth if I remember correctly.
