Thumbs up Our first snowboard/ski movie

Hey!

We have recently finished editing our very first snowboard/ski movie. Hope you will like it!

We are planning on making another one this year. This time with better cameras and more editing experience.

I know our camera on this movie is crap and the editing could have been alot better. Still, we had alot of fun doing it.

If you have any tips on how to improve, feel free to share )

YouTube - Myrkdalen 2010 - It's Time to Get eXtreme! Snowboard in Norway!

Keep in mind; the title "It's time to get eXtreme" is made with a sense of irony.

cool dudes! you gotta start somewhere and u guys have started.. good for you's...

over time your cameras will get better and your edits will get more skilled. i learn new stuff all the time still for editing. you can check out my stuff in the links in my signature

so, depeneding on what edit program u are using (I use Sony Vegas Pro) you can adjust the lighting using a levels effect or even a birght/contrast effect. it will bring out those darker clips and make em pop a little more.. make these adjustments for all the dark clips 1st as you drag them in, then keep trucking. it really helps trust it. as you go you can learn more on colorizing and really bring out colors. but starting with good light for recording is the best thing to work on when filming. takes lots of time..

good work dudes

Sweet video! I would not worry about the camera and stuff like that right now! As long as you have powder like that, the possibilities are endless! Everything else will fall into place. Man you can pretty much learn anything with that much snow!! I need to come to Norway!! Keep on pushing!

obviously a first timer video but you gotta start somewhere like they said before.

And you guys have something most first timers don't. riding talent you guys have balls for trying tricks like that.
keep filming and editing. also watch other peoples videos to get ideas and you will be able to make some sick stuff.
good luck!

I have been filming/editing for years and i started like you did.
you can visit my youtube page for some ideas and whatnot
